Electrical worker injured at Cold Spring Brewery

COLD SPRING, Minn. – A worker installing an electrical panel at the Cold Spring Brewery was injured Monday morning when the panel fell on him and pinned him.

The accident happened early Monday morning, when Anthony Christopher Brunell, 38, was installing the panel, which weighed about 1,800 pounds, said Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner. The panel was being installed in an area of new construction at the brewery, Sanner said.

Workers lifted the panel off Brunell before rescue personnel arrived. Brunell, who was a contract worker for Hunt Electric, was taken to St. Cloud Hospital, Sanner said.
