The final regular season games for boy’s hockey in the Central Lakes Conference (CLC) will take place tonight.
The St. Cloud Tech Tigers travel to Fergus Falls with a chance to move up two positions in CLC standings. The Tigers have come on as of late, winning three out of their last four. In a previous game this season the Otters defeated the Tigers by a 5 to 2 score.
The Otters sit firmly in second position in the CLC. With only one conference point at stake tonight, they cannot catch top-ranked Brainerd or drop behind third-ranked Alexandria.
The Tigers and Otters take the ice at Fergus Falls Community Arena at 7 p.m.
The St. Cloud Apollo Eagles will be looking to avenge an early season loss as well tonight. An earlier meeting with the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm ended in a 2 to 4 loss.
The winner of the Eagles and Storm match-up at Sauk Rapids – Arena East will take bragging rights into the postseason. Coming into tonight’s game the Storm sit ½ point ahead of the Eagles in CLC standings.
